Factory & Quality
Factory Quality Assurance: hhdfiber.com
Welcome to the HHD Fiber quality control and manufacturing standard portal. As an export manufacturer specializing in high-density optical fiber infrastructure—including our core GJFJKV micro-armored fiber optic cables (featuring the streamlined 3-layer architecture: Jacket → Stainless Steel Tube → Optical Fiber) and precision armored MPO assemblies—rigorous quality assurance is the backbone of our global supply chain.HHD Fiber manufactures and assembles armored fiber optic cables and fiber optic cable assemblies for indoor, outdoor, industrial and network applications. Our work covers cable preparation, connector assembly, polishing, inspection, optical testing and packaging.
Product construction and test requirements are confirmed according to the selected cable design and project specification.Key Pillars of Our Manufacturing & Quality Standards
Precision Layer Integrity (GJFJKV Standards):Our core GJFJKV indoor/outdoor micro-armored cables adhere strictly to a compact, high-durability 3-layer structural profile. This design ensures maximum crush resistance and rodent protection while maintaining tight outer diameter tolerances and flexibility for enterprise data centers, telecom backhauls, and field deployments.
Material Compliance & Sheath Naming Conventions:
We maintain strict adherence to international safety and environmental regulations. In line with our product nomenclature:Suffix 'V': Indicates premium-grade PVC jacketing (ideal for standard commercial and indoor/outdoor installations requiring robust mechanical protection).
Suffix 'U': Indicates high-performance TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) jacketing (engineered specifically for tactical field deployment, outdoor harsh environments, and applications requiring superior abrasion resistance, flexibility, and extreme weather endurance).
Suffix 'H': Indicates LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacketing, engineered for high-density indoor environments and data centers where fire safety, minimal smoke toxicity, and low corrosive gas emissions are mandatory.
End-to-End Factory Inspection Protocols:
Every production batch undergoes strict multi-stage testing before leaving our Shenzhen facility.Optical Performance Testing: Insertion Loss (IL) and Return Loss (RL) testing using calibrated high-precision meters.
Mechanical Stress Testing: Tensile strength, crush resistance, and torsion endurance checks to verify armored tube integrity and jacket resilience.
Environmental & Thermal Testing: Verification of performance stability under extreme temperature fluctuations, UV exposure, and humidity extremes for PVC, TPU, and LSZH variants.

Cable Assembly & Inspection Process
Fiber optic assemblies pass through a series of preparation and inspection steps. Depending on the product configuration, the process may include component preparation, fiber preparation, assembly, connector polishing, end-face inspection, optical testing, appearance inspection and packag
Example of the fiber optic patch cord assembly and inspection process.
Tensile Test Demonstration
We conduct tensile testing on selected cable samples to observe cable performance under an applied load. Test conditions and acceptance requirements vary by cable construction and project specification.
Optical Testing & End-Face Inspection
Connectorized assemblies can be checked for connector end-face condition and optical performance according to the specified configuration. Inspection and test records can be prepared for applicable products and orders.Unarmored & Armored Fiber Optic Cable Applications
Armored fiber optic cables and assemblies are used in a range of network and equipment environments. The required cable type depends on the installation location, connector interface and mechanical protection needs.Outdoor cable installation/ equipment cabinet.
Armored fiber cable used for a camera connection in an elevator environment.
Outdoor fiber connections for CCTV and roadside equipment cabinets. Armored fiber patch cords provide an added mechanical protection option for exposed outdoor links.
